When you first contact us to arrange to view a property, we will take a few details to make sure the property you want to view meets all your requirements.
The viewing is your chance to have a good look round and ask any questions about the house and the area. If you’re not local or live overseas we can show you round the property using a virtual tour or via WhatsApp video.
If you want to go ahead and rent the property we will ask you to complete a Tenant Application Form so that we have all the information we need for the legal paperwork.
Once we have approval from the Landlord to proceed with your application, we start the ball rolling with all the paperwork. We use a specialist referencing company to verify your identity, carry out financial, credit and employment checks and we will also contact your landlord or letting agent if you are currently renting.
We use a specialist inventory company to draw up a detailed ‘Inventory and Schedule of Condition’ for the start of your tenancy. We think you have enough to deal with when you’re moving home so we will also arrange for all the utilities (council tax, water, gas & electricity) to be transferred into your name from the day the tenancy starts.
Some of our properties are managed by the Landlord but the majority are under full management with us so you would deal with us on any matters arising on a day-to-day basis.
