The second bedroom is a comfortable double, while the third works well as a single room, nursery or study depending on what you need. A modern bathroom serves the other rooms.

Outside is where this house really stands out. For such a central location, the garden feels surprisingly generous and, importantly, private. There's a paved terrace directly outside the house with an electric awning which makes it a great spot for eating outside or just sitting with a coffee. The conservatory opens straight onto this space so the connection between inside and out works really well. The garden itself is planted with roses, peonies and other established shrubs, and changes nicely through the seasons. The left-hand side gets more of the later sun, while the terrace and conservatory are especially good in the morning. There's also a shed and side access which makes things practical.

At the front there is parking for two cars - another thing that's not always easy to find in such a central location in Wilton.

Wilton is a friendly and well-served market town, with a strong sense of community and an easy pace of life. From the front door, shops, cafés, a weekly market and several well-regarded pubs are all within walking distance. Everyday essentials including a doctor, dentist, Co-op and a range of independent businesses are close at hand, while surrounding countryside offers excellent walking at Grovely Woods and beyond. Regular bus services connect easily to Salisbury.
